LESS THAN LETHAL
In 2020, following the murder of George Floyd Portland, OR, saw levels of police abuse & wrongful arrests not seen since the 1960s civil rights era. Not only police violence against protesting citizens but also medics, mutual aid, legal defense, & members of the news, including independent press.
The US government & politicians avoid the subject of Portland 2020 altogether, as if it never happened, despite George Floyd’s murder getting a conviction. Despite record-breaking numbers of recorded incidents of abuse in Portland, America’s tone as of late has been that the rampant police abuse across the nation never occurred; thanks to endless false reporting, the misguided opinion of many people is that the police abuse was justified.
The most famous lie, “Portland is burning down,” was never even remotely the truth, as city officials & reports have stated. Portland was never “on fire,” the same way immigrants were never “eating the dogs” in Springfield, OH.
This is the lost Portland protest scene of 2020, when people protested ongoing police violence & Trump’s rising tide of white supremacy in America. While Portland was in the blindside of the nation, Trump helped turn Portland into a police state “sandbox.” With hindsight being 20/20, Portland seems to have been a testing ground for Project 2025 & the current United States administration.

PORTLAND 2020 fire reports
2020 was a 5 year low for calls related to fire, the data conclusively shows that only 7% of the reports were related to structures being on fire.
That is less than one dozen calls firefighters responded to a building “on fire.” That hardly sounds like a city burning down.

censoring the truth
A database of abuse incidents against members of the press in the United States by The Press Freedom Tracker documents incidents across the country, involving national, state, and local authorities. The volume of recorded 2020 incidents shows the level of abuse carried out by law enforcement not only in America, but especially in Oregon.
